Many people know how to protect themselves against cybercrime but still fail to do so. This is exactly where our latest awareness campaign for the Federal Office for Cyber Security comes in, under the motto: «No excuses – take action!»

The multi-week communication offensive in April and May 2025 attracted attention with a testimonial campaign in a «FaceTime» style, the tongue-in-cheek game «Cards against Cybersecurity», a completely redesigned knowledge platform, and numerous online and offline measures. The message was unmistakable: no more excuses!

The campaign built on the successful S-U-P-E-R initiative. The knowledge was there – now it was time to act. Under the new motto «No excuses – take action!», the BACS, Swiss Crime Prevention (SKP), cantonal and municipal police forces, SBB, Swiss Post and the Swiss Insurance Association (SVV) sent another strong joint signal against cybercrime.

As part of this work, we completely rebuilt the campaign website s-u-p-e-r.ch and enriched it with extensive content – now focusing not only on individuals but also on companies. In «Cards against Cybersecurity», players can let their imagination run wild inventing excuses – the more absurd and outrageous, the better. The competition-style game highlights the issue with a wink. As an analogue highlight, the topic was featured at a stand at the BEA trade fair in Bern, where the game was also available in physical form.
